…En alweer wordt Shakespeare’s legendarische vloek op het toneel gezet, we zijn vereerd dat we de kans hebben om Macbeth* naar het speelveld te brengen!

Kom kijken naar dit klassieke drama over het constante gevecht om de kroon, in een versie die Shakespeare hopelijk zou haten.

*Theater Legendes zeggen dat je moet spugen en drie keer om jezelf heen moet draaien om jezelf te bevrijden van de vloek, wanneer je de naam van het stuk zegt.

5 actors all want to play the legendary role of Macbeth. A fight for the crown, [no sorry role], that makes the hidden structures of power visible that our world is truly cursed by. Slowly the fun and childish play (and killings) turns serious, affecting all the actors, but for some reason mostly the only female body on stage. 

A version with magic, holloganism, spit and turnings, licking, physicality and a onspoken rule of always gagging Lady Macbeth with a Microphone.

This show questions the structures of our society, the toxic masculinity of the hero and WHO writes the words, the srcript, that we for some reason all wanna play.
